Topogram

Include upper thorax until iliac crest


Non Contrast

Vertically: from upper thorax until iliac crest

Horizontal: include bilateral breast and soft tissue


Reconstruction Non Contrast

Pre-Monitoring

Put the line at aorta arch

Contrast

Contrast: Omnipaque 300 mg I/ml Solution for injection/infusion IOHEXOL


Injector Setting

NP Test
Flow rate: 5.0 ml/s
Volume: 15 ml

CTA

ContrastFlow rate: 5.0 ml/s
Volume: 70 ml

Normal SalineFlow rate: 5.0 ml/sec
Volume: 50 ml

Normal Saline:
Flow rate: 5.0ml/sec
Volume: 50ml


Moniroting

Draw the ROI at the arch of aorta (use pre-monitoring image)

Set the trigger at 100HU

*If there is calcification present within the aorta, you can switch off the auto trigger function at ‘Contrast’ tab. Press tthe start button to start the monitoring scanning; and  when aorta is fully enhance with contrast (HU 100+), press the ‘Start’ again. Body Angio will start scanning *  


Body Angio

Include upper thorax until end of kidney

Automatic start scan when trigger 100HU

Reconstruction Post Contrast

Coronal thorax

Siemens SyngoVia 3D Render

Open with CT Vascular

Punch the unnecessary image

Open ‘Range Tools’ choose ‘Radial Range’

Radial Range
Number of images = 19 (lock)
Angle between images= 19

Orientation start from AP view. Then click ‘Start’

Save as VRT Range CTA Thorax

Series of Images Send to PACS
