Currently patients who had an appointment for CT colonography will be admitted two days before the procedure for bowel preparation. When the patients are admitted, the nurses from wards need to take the barium for the stool tagging at the Department of Radiology. The issue is some of them did  not know the bowel preparation process or forgot to take the barium. The procedure may be reappointed due to poor bowel preparation and stool tagging. Patients also need to bear unnecessary costs due to management miscommunication.
